A wonderfully dark look at life from a revenge paranoia perspective
30 August 2006 | by mark_huang_seywerdSee all my reviews

In response to the gentleman from Denmark, I have seen this film and found it to be fantastic. It had great elements of suspense incorporated into it and kept me guessing till the end (even at the end!)For his first directing project, Mr. Barclay has shown great talent with lighting, sets and his directing skills are outstanding. The music soundtrack was appropriate for a horror genre directed at a younger audience. "Unchangeable" is a short movie in the "Film Noir" style.Even as a straight to video project, it did not have the poorer quality visual effects often seen in this class of films. As a first project, I believe this is first class and am looking forward to "Himmerland" this fall! It's hard to compare this short to any other. Its storyline and premise is quite original. I rate it a 8/10.
