MPAA Rated R for violence and language

Sex & Nudity

  • Two women are seen kissing passionately in the background during a conversation involving one of the hitman's targets in his penthouse, it is implied they do this in part for the target's pleasure. However, this is treated with discretion as for most of the scene, the act depicted is blurred in the shot itself, and when it does focus on them, they stop.
  • At a nightclub, many women dance suggestively, twirling their hips as the respective shots linger on them before shifting focus to the main characters. In this scene, there are tight split-second shots shown as part of a montage on large panels with women suggestively fondling each other.

Violence & Gore

  • A corpse falls from a window onto the hood of a taxi cab (We see blood spray on the windshield). The body remains there, bleeding, until two men remove it and put it in the trunk of the cab. The blood is then doused off by water.
  • A man draws a gun and shoots a man twice in the head at point-blank range (Blood squirts). A man shoots two other men; one lies on the ground, wounded, and the attacker shoots him in the face, killing him. A man shoots another man several times in the head, neck and torso (Bloody bullet wounds are shown, and blood squirts). A man grabs a man from behind and breaks his neck. A man is shot and killed.
  • A man crashes his car purposefully, wounding him and his passenger, who escapes. A police officer tries to arrest a man; the man attacks the officer, handcuffing him and holding him at gunpoint before running off. A bloodied corpse is found in the trunk of a car. A man is shot in the shoulder (Blood sprays). A scene shows several bodies in a morgue with very gory wounds. An intense nightclub shootout depicts many characters being killed by gunfire.
  • Throughout the movie, the main character is held hostage by an assassin, and is forced to drive him to each of his "hits".
  • A man slices another man in the leg with a knife

  • 22 uses of "f*ck", 1 use of motherf**ker and infrequent uses of others like "sh*t", "b*tch", "damn", "a**". All f-words used in a strong impact way.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Alcohol is shown and used at a nightclub. Some characters are involved in a narcotics ring, and narcotics are mentioned on occasion, but never shown or explicitly discussed.
  • An ad for Bacardi Silver rum is seen on top of the taxi throughout the film.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The violence is basically infrequent in this movie, but there's also lots of profanity. This movie could've gotten a PG-13 rating if the language was toned down, and if they rarely show any blood.
  • The main character is held hostage throughout the course of the movie, and is forced to participate in illicit activities by his captor, who is a contract killer. The threat of violence and death is present throughout the film.

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • A man exchanges fire with another man; the latter is shot multiple times in the torso (We see a little bit of blood). He manages to stand upright, and sits down, has a brief conversation with his killer, before dying. It is heavily implied that a man kills another man. A man remarks that a taxi driver reportedly went on a shooting rampage before killing himself, and states that he believes that someone else was with him.
