I absolutely, positively LOVE Shaman King. I am devoted fan. But I absolutely LOATHE the Dubbed version. The voices are horrible (Ren, Jun(They are not British, people) Anna...) The dubbed names are atrocious. (How the heck did Hao go to Zeke? Be reasonable at least keep it close...maybe Howie? And Lenny? I understand Len but not Lenny. And Trey Racer...what the heck? ). The plot remains fairly intact but because of the X-laws you know they are cutting out a lot of stuff. Yoh does not want to become a rock star...he wants an easy life.

Yet this comes from the fact I watched the original Japanese version before they dubbed it. I actually own the entire series. Even the manga is edited but they keep the plot very close to the original and the jokes(Some I do understand why...)

Rating Dubbed: 3/10 (I give 4kids some credit but very...very little because the ruin many animes) Subbed: 10/10
