In the American episodes of MegaMan: NT Warrior, there were some name changes that the NetNavis' original names had in the MegaMan: Battle Network games: They changed FireMan to TorchMan because of the firemen lost in 9/11. They changed BombMan to BlasterMan to hide the mentionings of bombs with bomb threats. They changed NapalmMan to MoltanicMan to hide references of napalms. BeastMan was renamed to SavageMan because "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" (both versions) and the "F-Zero" videogame series have their Beast Man. See more »

MegaMan: NT Warrior is an Anime series based on the MegaMan: Battle Network series from Capcom. It tells the tale of Lan, who carries along with him a NetNavi named MegaMan.EXE. They team-up to destroy viruses to save the world. He is always friends with 2 cute "girls" Maylu & Yai, as well as another boy who dose have a competive streak inside him, Dex. I saw this Anime on Watch Cartoons Online & it was entertaining to say the least, since Lan would eat whatever he comes by, unless he runs into a Net Battle, that is. Only in Anime can a melding of 2 genres can be pulled off without trailing into camp.
This show is excellent. It has a great soundtrack and every piece of music in it is perfectly chosen to fit the tone of the scene. It is also very well written with the larger ongoing plot lines slotted in brilliantly around the smaller lot arcs. The animation is also very well done and the fights are very well thought out.
All in all this is a wonderful anime with great comedic value as well as wonderful drama.
