One of the best shorts that I've ever seen!
19 October 2004 | by ela7273See all my reviews

"The trip" is an excellent short. With a great black and white photography, this short is a story about death and the social issues, seen through the innocent eyes of two children. The actors carry out a great interpretation. It has an style near to the 60's Italian cinema. A waste tip and characters of low social class, give realism to the story. But also there is a lot of poetry in this short...In eight minutes of duration, the director obtains to tell a story that arrives to the deepest thing of all of us. Without ornaments, with two characters and a one scenery. "The trip" is all what needs to be one short. Few actors, few locations, and a great story. 'The trip' is one of the best Spanish shorts of the last ten years.
