Did you know
- TriviaPauley Perrette, who plays Abby, actually graduated from college with a degree in Forensics, and then moved to New York to get her master's, and it was there that she got in to acting, before coming to NCIS. Producers have said that most of the personality and interests displayed by Abby come from Perrette just playing herself.
- GoofsWhen analyzing shell casings, there's more than one reference about the fact that it "could be either a Glock or a Beretta". The difference would be readily apparent to an experienced observer. Glock: the firing pin leaves on the primer a distinctive rectangular mark plus, in many cases, the extraction leaves a mark near the mouth of the case. Beretta: they leave just a small mark on the primer left by the percussion pin. There's no way you can mistake a Glock and a Beretta, given a spent casing fired from either pistol.
- Quotes
Officer Ziva David: Well, you know what they say. You cannot make an omelet without breaking a few legs
Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo: She's never making me breakfast.
Special Agent Timothy McGee: Uh, Ziva, it's 'without breaking a few eggs.'

Love the show
At first when my husband would watch this show I wasn't really paying much attention and I would see this goth girl in the lab and think "what on earth is THAT?!?!?!" Then, one night I sat and watched along with him and now I am totally hooked. Mark Harmon's character appears to be annoyed sometimes by the other characters actions etc. but you get the feeling he really likes his coworkers. I like David McCallum's character and the way they tease him about going on and on. I get the feeling he knows they really do like him but his stories just get to be too much for them and he understands. My favorite though is Pauley Perrette's character. She is just a lot of fun. I hope the show stays on a long time- Tuesday nights wouldn't be the same with out it.
