Nishana is a tale of Revenge, where Mithun bumps off the enemies of him as well as his love, Rekha.
This movie is so bad it's hilarious. Rekha is one Indian actress who definitively refused to play mother roles as many of her contemporaries did and instead insisted on getting leading roles into her forties. Well, not without a reason, as she had everything it took to carry a film on her shoulders, but what she forgot is the quality of the films she appeared in at that time, most of which were terrible B-grade films which would vanish from the screens after their first-day show. Nishana, like other films of the 1990s in which Rekha tried hard to repeat the success of Khoon Bhari Maang, such as Udaan, Insaaf Ka Devi, Ab Insaf Hoga, etc., is one such film, and it is the worst of its kind. Rekha is made to play another superwoman who could give any of the male action stars of the time a run for their money. Another pathetic film indeed by Raj N. Sippy, with a terrible story and a more terrible script. That said, both Rekha and Mithun do their best, at times so much that it looks like they genuinely believed in this project, which, in turn, makes everything look much funnier. Please avoid this movie. If you want to watch it anyway, I'm sure the first scene itself will be enough reason for you to turn it off.
