Usual 80's stuff....

Prabhat Roy's 'Hum Intezaar Karenge' is loyal to the decade it released, the 80's. The film has 2 superstars Mithunda & Padmini, a good supporting actor Lt.Vinod Mehra & a conniving villain Shakti Kapoor. The film has memorable songs by Bappida, and good-looking locations.

'Hum Intezaar Karenge' is a okay film, where expectations are not even talked-about. This 1989 fare is meant to be seen once, that's it!

Coming to the acting department, Mithunda was the no.1 Star when this film was released. He's terrific as always, and steals the show without a doubt. Padmini is good as always. Lt.Vinod Mehra was a very, very fine actor and his work in this film is also commendable. Shakti Kapoor does a fine job.

Watch this one, remembering that this one's is a film from the 80's.

Below Average

Hum Intezaar Karenge Directed By Prabhat Roy is A Romantic Drama. Script & Screenplay Are Strictly Average With Predictable Plot & Slow Character Developments. Direction is Very Weak. Action is Less But Effective. Dialogues Are Fine. Editing is OK.

Ajay(Mithun Chakraborty) Moves To Mumbai in Search Of Job. He Meets His Friend Ravi(Vinod Mehra). Ravi Tells Him To Study Further And Work Too. He Starts Working in His Auto Garage . In College He Interacts With Manisha(Padmini Kolhapure) Child Of Wealthy Barrister Vikas Anand(Shafi Inaamdar). After Few Misunderstandings Both Fall in Love. Manisha Introduces Ajay To Her Dad, Who Approves Him, But Ajay Tells Him That He Cannot Marry Until He is Well Settled, He Needs 3 Years To Accumulate Enough Wealth And Then Marry Manisha.

With Introduction Of New Characters & Subplot Ajay Faces Hurdles in His Way To Success. Finally After Twists And Turns, Happy Ending.

Mithun Chakraborty Again With His Natural Acting Skill Does Well. Padmini Kolhapuri is as Usual Nothing New. Vinod Mehra Gives Better Performance Than Rest Of The Cast. Shakti Kapoor Has Very Less To Offer. Beena Banerjee, Shafi Inamdaar & Dina Pathak Are Good Support.

Music Is Average By Bappi Lahiri. "Sahara Tere Intezaar Ka Hai" By Pankaj Udhaas is Best Composition.
