Storyline

Another of the series of shorts from RKO in which a silent film and the acting styles are burlesqued through the narrative but the narrative was not always needed to make the point. The victim-film in this entry is D.W. Griffith's 1909 "The Sealed Room" with Henry B. Walthall, Marion Leonard and Arthur V. Johnson. The film is called "A Ghastly Revenge or "Where's the Door" in this short and, based on the plot of the 1909 original---see IMDb for details---re-naming it "Where's the Door" may be the single funny item to be found in this short.
