Gary Coleman's death stirred up posts throughout Twitter-Wood this afternoon, both with positive remembrances and commentary on the lifelong issues that childhood actors can face. Ashton Kutcher, Shannon Elizabeth, Tom Arnold and Eliza Dushku counted themselves among Coleman's fans, and many others acknowledged their appreciation for his work as Arnold on "Diff'rent Strokes."
John Stamos touched on the more serious issues in Coleman's in life in his Twitter note, and Ken Jeong and Jon Hurwitz both left simpler notes. Click on past the jump and you can find out who else posted about Coleman. Feel free to leave your own responses and memories in the comment section.

A minor Twit-pocalypse broke out yesterday when LeVar Burton accidentally posted his phone number to his account. It sounds like he had to get his number changed thanks to all of the incoming calls, but luckily for him, his old "Star Trek: The Next Generation" co-stars Wil Wheaton and Brent Spiner were around to lend moral support.
Judging from the Twitter-Wood feed, everyone who wasn't calling LeVar was at the Hollywood Bowl to see Paul McCartney, and a few posted pictures from the event. Click on past the jump and you can see who was there, as well as what Damon Lindelof thought about "Lost" this week, what Tom Hanks looks like during location scouting and what Richard Kelly thinks of the iPad. It's all in Twitter-Wood for March 31st, 2010.

Bankruptcy rumors about Blockbuster were not met with sympathy from one filmmaker in the Twitter-Wood feed. Troma Entertainment's Lloyd Kaufman took the opportunity to sound off about his long-running dissatisfaction with the video rental giant, and he doesn't wish them well.
Elsewhere, Simon Pegg has been pushing forward with filming on "Burke and Hare," and he mentioned a scene location today that the movie will share with "Gladiator." Emmy Rossum geared for some March Madness basketball action, and Kat Dennings bought a spiffy new pair of boots. You can check those out after the jump along some of the weirdest sock monkey headgear ever to the grace this column in Twitter-Wood for March 19th, 2010.

Twitter erupted over the weekend news that Gang Starr Mc Guru suffered a heart attack that put him in a coma. Ice-t shouted out some support and shock about the incident, but the rapper's condition doesn't sound promising.
Meanwhile, reactions were all over the place during the closing ceremonies for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver last night. Jon Favreau wants to have a beer with Canada now that they're all over. Wil Wheaton was aggravated by NBC's cut to Jerry Seinfeld's "The Marriage Ref," and "Alive" director Frank Marshall just seemed happy to be there. Check out his picture from the sidelines after the jump, where you can also find out how a "New Moon" actor is doing with his diet and what Amanda Bynes will do if you start hating at her on Twitter. Christian Serratos was talking about going to Greece yesterday, but last night she was post pictures from her trip to the White House, where she visited a cardboard Christmas tree.

Earlier today, we brought you an early edition of Twitter-Wood packed chock-full of celebrity praise for James Cameron's sci-fi epic, "Avatar." It's a much more tragic set of circumstances that brings me back to you with another Twitter-Wood early edition.
"Clueless" star Brittany Murphy left us suddenly over the weekend, the victim of a heart attack at the too-young age of 32. The breaking news resulted in an outpouring of grief and sympathy for Murphy's family from around the celebrity Twittersphere. I'll let the people who knew her take it from here...

Edgar Wright's "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" may be inheriting an entirely unexpected fanbase, according to an exchange today between creator Bryan Lee O'Malley and "New Moon" actress Anna Kendrick. Apparently O'Malley has seen his comic creation cited repeatedly with Kendrick's name attached more prominently than both his and Wright's.
One of the largest showings of single-topic tweets I've seen in Twitter-Wood since the death of Michael Jackson occurred yesterday afternoon with the appearance of a rainbow over Los Angeles. In the face of a week that's been dominated by Tiger Woods gossip, this was probably a welcome shift. New problems seem to have appeared, meanwhile, for John Stamos, who let his publicist step in and tweet a statement today following an extortion investigation. As any Twitter-Wood followers know, Stamos loves taking pictures with his fans, and it sounds like someone tried to blackmail Stamos with such images for unknown reasons.

Twitter-Wood had plenty to celebrate this weekend, with a mini "Full House" reunion between John Stamos and Candace Cameron to Brett Ratner's wrap on his new Mariah Carey video and Greg Mottola's pre-release praise for Edgar Wright's "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World."

Veteran's Day brought no shortage of veteran appreciation today in Twitter-Wood, prompting thanks and memories from across the board, as well as a personal note from "Twilight" actor Gil Birmingham.
Meanwhile, Jason Schwartzman's on his way to the NYC debut of "Fantastic Mr. Fox," which as a Wes Anderson follower, I am anxious to see myself this weekend. When "Twilight" cast members began tweeting about subjects involving missing clothing, I definitely did not expect to log on to Twitter today and find out that Christian Serratos decided to outdo all of them, but but her new garment-less PETA ad definitely succeeded.
Dane Cook and Ice-t, meanwhile, were less focused on saving fur and more intent on playing "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" this weekend, according to their posts, and at least one of them found himself in possession of some nightvision goggles. Halloween tweets were way more interesting this morning since everyone was posting actual photos instead of just being indecisive about what to wear. "Twilight" star Billy Burke took the crown for most authentic, though, with his Sid Vicious outfit. He pretty much nailed the Sex Pistols' late bassist.
"Toy Story 3" director, Lee Unkrich, meanwhile retweeted a few incoming photos he received of well crafted character costumes. Gwen Stefani stood out from the pack in that batch, doing Woody's gal pal Jessie from "Toy Story 2." Then there was Fred Durst, who appears to have put a leg up on December, posting a shot of the Christmas tree he just set up in his living room. Check out all of those, as well as reactions from the World Series, Rob Zombie and John Stamos. They're all waiting after the jump in the Twitter-Wood report for November 2, 2009.

Soupy Sales, Christian Serratos Proclaims 'Eclipse' Wrap And Twitter On Xbox In Today's Twitter-Wood
The "last day on the battlefield" that David Slade tweeted about must have ended well, since Christian Serratos tweeted triumphantly that "Eclipse" filming wrapped in Vancouver yesterday. Elsewhere, he co-star Jodelle Ferland struggled with her Twitter icon after accidentally covering up her face with a lemon. Such have been the trials and tribulations in the Twitter world of "Twilight."
Miranda Cosgrove, meanwhile, didn't seem to be struggling with the new pair of glasses she TwitPic'd a look at for her followers to evaluate. Nor did Felicia Day seem to have any trouble with her new Twitter functionality on Xbox Live, which she appears to have installed. Check all of those out, along with some Soupy Sales memorial headlines, Paris Hilton's Hello Kitty diamonds and Emmy Rossum's call for Halloween costume ideas. David Slade's still in the thick of "Eclipse" filming, and in his most recent tweetage from the set, it sounds like there's some violence in the mountains getting underway with some celebration on the side. A few of his cast members still seem to have Rome on their minds, which is understandable given the "New Moon" footage premiering there.

Editor's note: There were apparently some technical difficulties last night, as Twitter-Wood never ran. So in lieu of today's Daily TwitPic, here's a special morning edition of Twitter-Wood for 9/14/09.
The Vma's trended nearly as well in the Twitter-Wood feed last night as they did on Twitter, and if you've had any internet access over the last 24 hours you probably know that a lot of that was provoked by Kanye West's unexpected interruption during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech. Elizabeth Banks, Kat Dennings, John Stamos and others contributed to the online conversation that followed, expressing their thoughts on his interjection.
Football was pretty popular last night as well, and if you didn't know that Ashton Kutcher was a Bears fan, you do now, thanks to Demi Moore's photo tweet of her defeated fan-husband after the Green Bay Packers stuck it to Chicago in the fourth quarter. Check out all of those posts,...

I snapped yesterday, readers. Warmoth clearly has an unnatural fixation on former "Full House"/"ER" star John Stamos. Look, I like Jesse and the Rippers as much as the next child of the '80s, but this madness has to stop. And so, in the interest of bringing your Daily TwitPics some variety, I put a temporary moratorium on Stamos-centric TwitPics. Warmoth tells me that Ice-t and Rose McGowan's puppy will benefit. Have mercy indeed...

As you may recall from yesterday's Twitter-Wood, John Stamos called upon one of his Twitter fans to post a photo of his alleged Uncle Jesse-based tattoo. Well today that tweeter responded in kind, and the wrist tattoos are linked to at the top of the report for all to see now.
In other tweets, Robert Rodriguez gleefully celebrated his confirmed actors for "Machete," calling out Jessica Alba and Robert De Niro. As it turns out, the director has his own Twitter fan in Dane Cook, who's read the script. Kristen Bell, meanwhile, claims to have been reading "hacked" tweets coming out of her account. In what may be a related event, Dax Shepard called out a poser using the fake name @IMkristenBeII (note how two upper case i's can resemble two lowercase L's), who tried to break up with him. You can check out all that drama and more below.

The "ER" star's own bday post snagged today's Twitter Pic of the Day, which I've inserted below via Saget's re-tweet and well-wishing. If you ever wanted to see how great Stamos' hair looked early on in life, now is your chance. Check it out, along with Richard Kelly's computer problems, an explosion from F. Gary Gray's new film and more. It's all in the Twitter-Wood Report...

Any "Star Wars" fan planning a trip to Tokyo soon should look no further than Warwick Davis' Twitter account for advice. He served it up to his "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" co-star Tom Felton today, and you will definitely want to read his recommendation.
In addition to travel advice, Twitter-Wood has proven itself once again to be a great source of Monday celebrity micro-reviews. The most popular film to see in the feed this weekend was definitely "Funny People," and I've rounded up commentary by Shannon Elizabeth, Jon Favreau, and a couple of others who sounded of today. All of those and one of Emmy Rossum's simple daily frustrations are assembled for you below. But first, for the consideration of Twitter-Wood readers everywhere, I present my pick for Twitter Pic of the Day -- courtesy of Mr. John Stamos.

Considering the amount of hockey tweeting Kevin Smith has been doing lately, it should come as little surprise that he's setting up a match for his 39th birthday on Sunday. It sounds like he'll need to get some extra rest hours in on Saturday, though, because his new film "A Couple of Dicks" is pulling some a late shoot tonight, according to Kevin Pollak.
Other gems in today's rundown include Tom Felton's warm welcome to one of his Hogwarts professors, as well as a blast from the past for "Full House" fans via John Stamos, who uploaded a photo taken during a BBQ at Bob Saget's place. You can check out all of these and find out which "Twilight" actress recently got a tattoo in the Twitter-Wood report for July 31, 2009.
@ThatKevinSmith I turn 39 Sunday. To celebrate we're playing some indoor ball hockey! Just made a 21st century adjustment...

MTV interns weren't the only ones lining up for midnight screenings of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" last night. Plenty of names in the Twitter-Wood feed were up late for the wand-waving as well. Other tweeters, like new account owner John Stamos, have been busily learning the ropes and and getting feedback from friends like Kevin Spacey.
You'll find out exactly what I'm talking about below, as well as the least expected new label of celebrity-branded coffee this year and what part of Draco Malfoy the "Potter" team unsuccessfully tried dying early. Trust me. It all makes sense in the Twitter-Wood report for July 15, 2009.
@TomFelton Your eyebrows looked kind of odd though, because they didn't match your hair,(via @Jabogan)trust me,we died them blonde once....it's odder!x
-Tom Felton, Actor (”Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” “Anna and the King”)
@BrianLynch Harry Potter made 20 mill!

Diablo Cody made good on her promise to go to Dollywood this week, and the Twitter-Wood feed has the tweet to prove it. So if you've ever contemplated a trip to the only country music celebrity-themed park that I'm aware of in the U.S., check out her list of accomplishments.
Actor Ethan Suplee also tweeted in with some travel tips today, explaining how he tried to defend his nail-clippers from confiscation at the airport. To find out what he had to say, as well as what injury "Twilight" actor Peter Facinelli sustained from his child and Rainn Wilson discovered at the local pool today, click on down to the Twitter-Wood report for July 14, 2009.
@diablocody Just left Dollywood this morning after a whirlwind 2-day Dollymoon. Rode Mystery Mine 10 times, ate my weight in taffy.
