ITV commissioned Granada Productions to re-create Man vs. Beast for British audiences. A six-part series was filmed, hosted by John Fashanu. However, owing to massive backlash from animal rights groups, the series was cancelled without airing a single episode.

this show demonstrates how humor can be merged with excitement while still maintaining a level of dignity. personally, i cannot think of a better way to spend my time than watching 44 'little people' struggle to pull a 747 down a runway. it has got to be one of the most entertaining things i have ever seen.

if you have a problem with using animals in this show, stop being so p*ssed off about everything. if the animals were in the wild they'd probably be extinct by now anyway. if you haven't seen this show buy it, download it, do anything you can to get your hands on it. it simply cannot be missed.
