Paul Walker, 'Fast
Paul Walker, who found fame in the "Fast & Furious" franchise, died in a single car accident on Saturday at age 40.  The handsome leading man mixed up mainstream movies -- he was filming "Fast & Furious 7" -- with edgier fare such as the upcoming "Brick Mansions" in which he plays an undercover cop determined to take down a crime boss.  The California native was a child model and guested on a slew of TV shows before landing a plum part in the 1998 hit "Pleasantville" opposite Reese Witherspoon and Tobey Maguire. Two years later -- after leading roles in "She's All That" and "Varsity Blues" -- he won the Exciting New Face prize from the Young Hollywood Awards.  -Break- In 2002, he starred in the first "Fast and Furious" film, and picked up the Best On-Screen Team popcorn bucket with co-star Vin Diesel at the MTV Movie Awards. Does Lindsay Lohan Have Bad Juju?
Lindsay Lohan wasn't always in and out of rehab. The former child star turned troubled actress was beloved in the late 1990s and early 2000s, starring in feel-good films like "The Parent Trap," "Life-Size," "Freaky Friday" and "Mean Girls."

But lately -- between DUIs, drug problems and run-ins with the law -- LiLo's path has taken her in the wrong direction and she's two weeks into her 90-day lockdown treatment program.

Still, we can't help but notice all the other young stars who've struggled in the past -- or more so we can't help but notice that they All hung out and/or posed for photos with Lohan once in their life. (According to our celebrity rehab formula, taking pictures with LiLo can lead to trouble).

So does Lindsay Lohan have bad juju? We can only speculate.

CW to Broadcast Young Hollywood Awards Aug. 1

The CW will broadcast the 15th annual Young Hollywood Awards from Los Angeles in primetime Aug. 1.

Nominees for the kudofest, exec produced by Penske Media Corp., will be revealed in June.

“I’m so pleased Pmc and the CW will partner for our biggest year yet of the Young Hollywood Awards, spotlighting our show’s proven evolution in honoring and celebrating the accomplishments of the entertainment industry’s rising stars,” said Pmc founder, chairman and CEO Jay Penske. “Yha celebrates emerging young talent, and the CW Network has established the careers of some of the brightest young stars – making this alliance all the more perfect for the significant 15th anniversary of this eminent event.”

Hollywood's up-and-coming talent came together Friday night at La's Club Nokia for the 13th annual Young Hollywood Awards. The new face of Miu Miu, Hailee Steinfeld, stepped out in a black and white ensemble from the brand to accept the breakthrough of the year honor from her True Grit costar Jeff Bridges. More statues went out to Style Icon Camilla Belle, in a Tom Ford suit, and Star of Tomorrow Armie Hammer, who caught up with his hilarious Parks and Recreation star pal Aziz Ansari. Evan Rachel Wood Discusses Her True Blood Character

The second season of HBO's "True Blood" is in full swing, and fans of the show have been anxiously awaiting the first sighting of Evan Rachel Wood as Sophie-Anne Leclerq, the Vampire Queen of Louisiana. No photos have shown up yet, but Wood herself did reveal a few choice tidbits about her character.

Movieline spoke with Wood during the recent Young Hollywood Awards (click the link to see the video), and AfterEllen.com provided some transcription of her comments as follows:

"Oh! I love being able to talk about that now. I've had to be so secretive about it. She's 400 years old. Her name's Sophie-Anne, and she's the Vampire Queen of Louisiana. There's a queen for every state, and that's hers. And she's kind of a cross between Patrick Bateman and Paris Hilton. She's crazy. She's just crazy. And she's a lesbian."

"True Blood" Promises a Lesbian Character — For Real This Time

True Blood, HBO's hyper-sexualized, super-stylized vampire drama, returns this weekend with a promise to amp-up the lesbian content in its sophomore season — at least a little.
