A young film circle in West Berlin. Here, directors make their narrow-film projectors whirring and the produced "films" are then presented to a scene audience. In filmmakers circles, this is considered the last cry of Western cinematography. Two students of Dahlem University also operate in these circles: Charly Erdmann and Eddi Zapp. They listen very attentively to the full-length debates of the filmmakers present, and they endeavor to internalize the jargon of the industry. One day, they too will set off to reap "movie glory".
