Storyline

Vance Gordon is a director making a mafia movie, despite setbacks like quitting actors, a cinematographer who has not read the script and a crew member thinking he would be better in the director's chair. Oh, did we mention that the craft services dude, Chicago, ends up playing the lead? But his role is perhaps short-lived unless he can save the film crew, who has been taken hostage by Hollywood superstar Richard Lynch. Can Chicago save the day? Perhaps, if he does what any good actor does. He must improvise. Written by Al Owens

Kind of Amateur Movie that gives Amateur Movies a Bad Name
8 April 2008 | by soncomanSee all my reviews

Bad acting, bad script, bad direction... what else could you want in an amateur film? How about a professional actor surrounded by amateurs? You get that in Richard Lynch. I don't know who he was related to or who he owed money to but that has to explain what he's doing in this. Looks like a bunch of friends got together and said "Hey, kids, let's put on a show! We can use the barn at the old William's place and I know where we can get a bunch of guns!" Not quite like the Judy Garland/Mickey Rooney epics, but you get the concept. Film actually runs under 58 minutes, but then they pad its running length with outtakes and a "music" video. Still under 65 minutes, so I don't know where IMDb gets its 86 minute length. Just as well, I'd hate to think I wasted that much time watching this.
