Land of the Quintuplets (1942)

Multiple births like the Dionne Quintuplets were very rare for the 1930s. There were no popular fertility drugs at the time to cause artificial multiple births like these five girls.

Land of the Quintuplets (1942)

*** (out of 4)

I've seen the majority of James A. FitzPatrick's TravelTalks series but this one here is something a tad bit different. The Dionne Quintuplets were a major story back in the day and this episode of the series travels to their hometown where we meet the five kids as well as the doctor who delivered them. We see various other parts of the town including the house that the children are living in as well as local stores. Usually this series took a look at entire towns, countries or states so this one here is obviously a tad bit different but there's no question that it's very entertaining and like others in the series it features some beautiful colors.
