and the point is...?
I've seen this short over the web (at the director's website after it was referred to by an Israeli news site, therefore I will not comment on technical issues. I'm not sure I got the point of this short. If it is supposed to be a satire, it is not funny. If these are supposed to be real people answering real interviews, it is pathetic. The basic premise may be interesting (at least for some people): since Muslim martyrs (a.k.a. suicide terrorists) are supposed to be awarded 72 virgins when they reach paradise, will ordinary Israelis will be willing to have sex (of various types) with Yasser Arafat (the PLO leader and a well known terrorist, who died recently) for peace. The movie doesn't seem to go into any real depth or try to see if (some) Arabs think that sex is the issue. It doesn't ask whether Arabs will consider having sex with Israelis a type of win (or loss!) or whether it is sort of a 60's dream of peace and love among all. To summarize, it is not clear to me what the director/writer really wanted to say or why it was shown in various festivals. Probably just a political issue: the program committee members saw "sex and peace" and they decided it is a worthy cause. Don't waste your time on it.
