Architect George Clarke travels around Britain meeting people who are trying to restore historically and architecturally significant buildings, many of which are non-residential buildings being converted into homes.
Each episode is about the host visiting people who have a dream to build a house and how they bring the build to fruition. We see their trials and tribulations along the way. Each episode is a separate stand-alone story.
Competition based series where amateur cooks progress through by successfully creating dishes that show off their technical skill and understanding of flavour. Guest judges include food critics and Mitchelin star chefs.
Someone previously commented that this show only lasted for one year.
Tonight, a new series starts. The show seems to be on constantly. It even has it's own spin off series, Relocation, Relocation, where Kirstie and Phil help people move to the countryside.
There is a magazine associated with the show as well as a couple of books.
If you are interested in property and buying/selling houses, it is a useful show to watch. Kirstie and Phil have great chemistry. Estate agents in my area seem to have learnt from them and are now more helpful and less pushy.
