On 9 January 2007, the Danish newspaper Politiken published an article in which Per Gad-Hansen, manager of Danmarks Radio's Archives, states that many of Danmarks Radio's broadcast tapes containing productions from before 1987 have been deleted (taped over to save production costs for other DR productions), including most of the episodes of "Kikkassen" (1965) which featured the highly popular children's show "Ingrid og Lillebror". Thus, the TV-series appears to be partially lost.
