Storyline

Mrs Meitlemeihr is a film that dares to ask one of the greatest what-if-questions of the century. What if Hitler didn't die in Berlin at the end of the war? What if he escaped with the intention of joining all those other Nazi evil-geniuses in sun-soaked South America? What if fate intervened and Hitler was forced into hiding in post-war London? What if he was forced to disguise himself? What if he disguised himself as... a woman? Written by John Harper

Dark and funny......
1 August 2003 | by CRISTOBAL777See all my reviews

I saw this short at the Dances with Films festival in Santa Monica on July 31st. This is a dark and very funny piece about Hitler's escape from Germany in the last days of WWII. Hitler is secretly brought to London where he is forced to dress as an old woman to leave his flat in search for food as he awaits further transport to Argentina. He meets his neighbor, an elderly jewish man, who is smitten with adolph as an old woman and has to thwart his sexual advances. Very funny. This short will be made into a feature eventually.
