A twenty something slacker decides to shoot a teen pop idol at his mall concert
The film is about a mildly depressed, majorly bored twenty something from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn who becomes obsessed with the undeserved success of a teen pop sensation. It's a very original, gritty little film that sucks you into the world of these two guys, tiny dots on the planet, who are painfully aware that their existence may in fact be fairly meaningless. Until that is... one of them tries to claim his 15 minutes.
This dark comedy took me by surprise in its irreverent wit, style and overall commentary on the effect of glorifying talentless pop icons on society. Well acted, very funny. I would recommend that any Kevin Smith fan see this movie. Especially Kevin Smith!
