A bunch of boys jump off a dock into the water, except for one. He cautiously climbs down a ladder.
It's another short film from Casimir Sivan, the Swiss clockmaker/filmmaker. Almost all of the original film makers held patents in the field; even the way that the film loops up in front of the projection lens was patented and is still known as the "Latham Loop." In the US, the companies that held many of these patents agreed to combine to prevent outsiders from producing movies, the "Patents Trust".
This movie is a very pleasant effort because the way the various boys handle getting into the water, from jumping in first, to eventually, to standing around looking, varies so enormously.
