Enjoyable but does feel like a trailer

This short film is a `trailer' in the words of director O'Sullivan. It is part of his planned feature `Weekend' which will be three intertwining stories of which this is the bones of one. Because of that this feels like it should be more and feels like a good idea not followed through. The most is enjoyable as a look at the relationship between two young ex-lovers years later.

The two leads are very good and we even get a small role from Chinese comedian Richard Ng. The cast are lively and the chemistry between the two manages to be both controlled but still hint at the passion that once existed between them.

Overall it made me want to watch Weekend when it's made. As a film in it's own right it's enjoyable and interesting enough but feels like a trailer in that there's more out there that isn't included.
