Give Her Gas

Lee Moran has just bought a new automobile, so they pick up Eddie Lyons' family for an outing in their new pride and joy. However, when it turns out they don't know anything about autos, it's not so joyful for them.

Moran and Lyons were a comedy duo in this era, with more than three hundred shared credits. Although they never rose to the heights of popularity, they were a solid comedy pair until 1920. Lyons' died in 1926. Moran continued writing and acting for the camera through 1935 and lived until 1961.

This one may seem absurd to the modern viewer. Imagine not knowing the basics of automobile care. If, however, you are of an age to have gone through the frequently mysterious process of learning to deal with a computer, you'll appreciate their comic problems here.
