This seems to be the earliest "studio tour" movie, and initiates the standard course of events in such films. It shows people arriving at Universal City -- its facade looks like it was chopped up to make every White Castle hamburger joint in the country -- the assembly of props, shooting a scene, lunch, another scene, then over to the labs, looking at rushes, then a finished print. We get to see Lyons & Moran, Victoria Forde (her what later married Tom Mix), as well as Al Christie and shots of Otis Turner directing something that looks East Indian.
Although the parts that survive are in good shape and those that do not are covered by titles, the first few minutes of this film and the second reel are missing. Even so, it's good to see the inner workings of the largest film studio in the world at the time.
