There were 2 seasons of a total of 40 episodes of 1 Hour + the Telemovie Pilot of 2 hours

Much longer series than outlined in IMDB? It was almost renewed for a further 20 hours but Network 10 decided to renew a Melbourne-based series that all of the creative principals had retired from. THAT renewal was a ratings disaster. WHITE COLLAR BLUE was the victim of the Victorian control of Network 10 and was the victime of over-the-border jealousy because it looked too much like Sydney, the sunshine and coast and embarassed that brown Yarra-brown look from down south. A pity, as it could have run for years. But Commercial Television in Australia is its own worst enemy and is driven my parochial ratings concerns with no view to the future.

    Cop show with a difference

Remember where you heard it first, fans. The new Cate Blanchett is on the block. Her name is Freya Stafford. Looks good, NIDA graduate, can act and is going to go a long way.The show has intelligent, realistic plots and a capable cast. Pity it's on the teeny boppers channel in Australia (Network Ten) Ratings haven't been real good yet, but this show is going to take off. Sue Masters (ex Australian Broadcasting Corporation) is the Executive Producer which means the show has go to be classy.

Action, Mystery AND a good perve!

When I first saw the adds it intrigued me, now that I watch the show, I'm hooked! It's a great Australian show! Sure the acting might need a touch up, but the plot that comes about each week is superb! It gets you hooked in. I love shows that get you thinking, and this one certainly does! Not to mention the stunning lookers in the cast, newcomer Don Hany for example :)~ also the boys will 'enjoy' old favourite Brooke Satchwell and the hot Freya Stafford! I only brush my TV off once a week, and that's for White Collar Blue :)

    Definately Classy...

This show has an amazing cast, especially with the addition of Freya Stafford, who I knew would make it since her days on Head Start. She is definately headed for the big screen!

The rest of the cast are quite capable in their roles (especially Brooke Satchwell).

Great script, great performances, great direction... and filmed in Sydney's South! What more could you want!

    • Trivia
In mid-2003, Channel Ten decided not to renew the show for a third season due to its large budget, solid but unflattering ratings, and failure to sell the show overseas. The final episode of the show screened in November 2003.

Det. Harriet Walker: [Joe and Harriet are watching the back entrance to a nightclub where Sophie and Theo are working undercover] I wonder why we weren't chosen.

      Det. Joe Hill: What for?

Det. Harriet Walker: The undercover gig.

Det. Joe Hill: I don't know... you ever seen me dance?

Det. Joe Hill: [Harriet chuckles] Maybe we're too conspicious.

Det. Harriet Walker: Don't tell me I've been assigned to the geriatrics' scrap heap at the age of 28.

Det. Joe Hill: I'm happy you're out here.
