Quotes

David Cross: Shhhh, you're a victim. Justice is not fair. Justice is not blind. Justice is a beast, a beast that feeds on lives and blood. I have no other blood to feed the beast... but yours. I feel sorry for you. You're nothing, your life is over. You will be chewed up and spit out, left to die slowly in a little gray box. And you know that's true. You can't escape the beast. Give me more blood and I can hide you. Give me one to take to your place.

above average martial arts cop show
25 March 2003 | by WebwolfhoundSee all my reviews

I intended to write a full critique of this but found someone had beaten me to the draw. I agree entirely with the long essay describing characterisation, et al. I would just add that the only reason I logged in to comment was the subtle (and not so subtle) humour amongst the characters lifted this above the normal drear cop pilot shows we see from the US.

I would enjoy a series based on this: a strong start with a good cast.
