A festival with a difference, which really made it the best Party in the Park so far!
14 October 2004 | by SavvySpiritSee all my reviews

Each year, you get a handful of your usual pop stars and same-old celebrities at this Hyde Park festival. But this year, there was a difference. We had to wait until the end of the show to enjoy it, but when it came, it really made the whole festival worthwhile. I'm talking, of course, about the cast of the musical 'We Will Rock You' performing some songs from the show live. I'm a fan of the musical, and to watch the cast performing live in front of thousands was a great experience. It was this, and this only, that stopped me from switching channels before the end of Party in the Park 2002!! Well done, 'We Will Rock You' cast, you're a talented bunch. I hope that we will see more variety such as this in the years to come, while Party in the Park continues to take place.
