  • Two posters with naked women on them are seen on a wall. Breasts are visible on one and a woman's buttocks on the other.
  • A girl sees a woman being raped. It is dark and not much is seen, since the man is behind the woman. She makes painful grunting and moaning noises as the man covers her mouth and holds a knife to her throat. There is no nudity and the scene only lasts for a few seconds.
  • A dead woman's breasts are seen as people dress her. The scene is completely non-sexual.
  • A young boy takes off all his clothes before planning on jumping into a fire (he doesn't). The scene is heavily shadowed, so nothing is seen in detail, and the scene is disturbing in nature, not sexual.

  • Two men fight on the ground briefly before it is broken up. No blood or wounds are shown.
  • A man is pushed several times and threatened with a gun.
  • A woman tries to attack a man but is restrained.
  • Several horses are shot in the head, and then one of them has its throat cut with a knife, and blood pours out. This scene is the most graphic and unsettling in the film.
  • A goat's throat is cut off-screen, and the result is shown afterwards.
  • A woman is raped while a knife is held to her throat (see Sex & Nudity).
  • A woman's corpse is shown. No blood or wounds are seen.
  • A young boy prepares to jump into a fire but is stopped by a man.
  • A young boy suffers from two noise bleeds in the film, and blood is seen in both scenes.

  • Official BBFC RATING: 15: Contains strong language and animal slaughter
  • Very infrequent and nothing too vulgar.
  • A man insults another man with mild ethnic insults.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A woman smokes a cigarette, then later shares another cigarette with another woman.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The scene when a man is shot in the head is shocking and unexpected (though off-screen), and a woman's reaction is upsetting (blood sprays on her face and she vomits).
  • Various scenes of people mourning and grieving over death could be upsetting and intense.
  • The scene with the deaths of the horses is shocking, confronting and graphic, and may upset a lot of viewers.
  • The rape scene, while not graphic, is still disturbing and unsettling.
  • While the movie is not particularly graphically violent (with the exception of the murder of the horses), it's tone is incredibly bleak and depressing
