Storyline

Stoyan and Lilyana are in love. He is poor shepherd and she is a daughter of the village major who has chosen Trichko, the son of the wealthy man, to be his future son-in-law. One day gypsies pitch the camp near the village. Stoyan becomes infatuated with the beautiful gypsy woman Gyula, and when the caravan people leave he joins them. Lilyana cannot bear being ridiculed by the whole village and jump from a high rock. After some time, jilted by Gyula, Stoyan recalls his first love and returns to the village. There he learned what has happened and goes to the rock. Drown by the vision of Lilyana, he falls into the void. Written by Georgi Djulgerov <georgidjul1943@gmail.com>
