It started last year, with the release of Benchwarmers 2… Which is when I speculated that Universal’s Dtv arm Universal 1440 Entertainment were scraping the bottom of the barrel. How little did I know. After being set up to produce sequels to Universal’s properties such as Death Race, Tremors and The Scorpion King, the company has in recent years has churned out sequels to Kindergarten Cop, Daddy Day Care, Cop and a Half, Honey, Bring it On and unexpected sequels to the likes of Backdraft, Bulletproof and Undercover Brother.

Speaking of which, Michael Jai White – who starred in the aforementioned blaxploitation comedy film – is back working with Universal’s Dtv arm for Welcome to Sudden Death. A

Fear the Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 6 Review: Bury Her Next to Jasper’s Leg
This Fear the Walking Dead review contains spoilers.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 6

What is there to say really about this week’s Fear the Walking Dead? After a strong run of episodes that stumbled with last week’s “Honey,” season 6 completely face plants with “Bury Her Next to Jasper’s Leg.” If I were John Dorie, I’d cut and run back to a lakeside cabin, too. But it didn’t have to be this way.

There are a few things that work in this episode’s favor. Garret Dillahunt is very good, as always. I truly felt John’s pain as he confessed his fears to June (Jenna Elfman). If he wants to cut and run, he must have a damn good reason for risking everything to abandon their friends. That he has their escape all mapped out says how desperately he needs to be free of Ginny.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 5 Review: Honey
This Fear the Walking Dead review contains spoilers.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 5

Well, here we are, another week and yet another mission to take down Ginny by turning her own plans against her. This time, in “Honey,” it’s newly reunited Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Sherry (Christine Evangelista) seeking to turn things to their advantage. But what starts out as a simple plan to steal back Al’s Swat van turns into a power struggle when Morgan (Lennie James) suddenly turns up to muddy everyone’s thinking.

In short order, tables are turned. Then turned again. Lovers are reunited, then separated. In the end, this episode feels like a retread of something we’ve seen a few too many times in 16 seasons of Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead. Intentionally or not, Dwight himself sums it up best when late in the episode he tells Morgan,

Women Directors Could Make History at the Next Oscars (Column) – Awards Circuit

Women Directors Could Make History at the Next Oscars (Column) – Awards Circuit
A director’s chair folds from side to side, holding the full weight of the user. Not just their body, but the dreams of a career in cinema that is about to be realized before the world. What’s even more profound: how many of those chairs are occupied by women of color this year, many in their feature debuts.

Regina King has been at the forefront of the discussion with her first feature, “One Night in Miami,” from Amazon Studios. She’s looking to become the seventh Black director nominated for an Oscar, following in the footsteps of the late John Singleton (“Boyz n the Hood”), Barry Jenkins (“Moonlight”) and Spike Lee (“BlacKkKlansman”), who is also in the conversation for “Da 5 Bloods.” After winning her fourth Emmy, for HBO’s “Watchmen” — making her the second-most-awarded Black woman in Emmy history — King is one of the top contenders in

NYPD Offering $2500 Reward For Information On Rick Moranis’ Attacker
When Rick Moranis made a surprise appearance in a commercial for Ryan Reynolds’ Mint Mobile, fans were overjoyed to see the actor back on their screens, even for a brief TV spot. Chris Evans Is Furious About Rick Moranis Being Randomly Assaulted In New York
Yesterday, the nation came together as one as a true American icon was hospitalized. It was a rare instance of national unity, with sympathy coming from across the political spectrum as everybody prayed for him to recover as soon as possible.

I am, of course, talking about Ghostbusters, Little Shop of Horrors and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids star Rick Moranis, who was randomly attacked on a street in New York’s Upper West Side. Rick Moranis Could Have Been an Animated Demon Slayer, But Adult Swim Said No

Rick Moranis Could Have Been an Animated Demon Slayer, But Adult Swim Said No
Rick Moranis could have come out of retirement to voice a demon-slaying version of himself in a bizarre cartoon series for Adult Swim, but the network ultimately passed on the idea. Very well known for his classic roles in movies like Ghostbusters, Spaceballs, and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Moranis walked away from acting in 1997 to focus on raising his children following the death of their mother. He has since stepped out of his unofficial retirement with a couple of special appearances, but Moranis almost marked his return with a starring role in a bizarre cartoon series on Adult Swim called The Gatekeeper.

Details of The Gatekeeper were revealed by Austin and Colton Stock of Rare Bird Games in a video posted to YouTube. The concept originates from an Adult Swim pitch contest at Comic-Con 2017, with the pair developing the story while waiting in line. With great energy and enthusiasm,

Check out the complete list of this year’s winners here.

Some of the most lauded filmmakers in Hollywood have come from the world of music videos. Shia Labeouf Might Be Returning To Transformers

Shia Labeouf Might Be Returning To Transformers
Michael Bay’s Transformers franchise may not have found a lot of love with critics, but the films did do massive business at the box office before earnings fell off a cliff with fifth installment The Last Knight, which earned over half a billion dollars less than immediate predecessors Dark of the Moon and Age of Extinction, proving that eventually people will tire of paying their hard-earned money to see terrible movies.

That being said, there are very few folks who seem to dislike the Transformers series as much as Shia Labeouf, and he played the main character in the first three outings. Having sworn off blockbusters for the last decade after becoming disenfranchised with the direction his career was heading in, the 34 year-old has since reinvented himself as one of the most committed and dedicated actors in the business.

However, there are now rumors that Labeouf could possibly be
