Kill those bloody zombies!
28 November 2011 | by zimbo_the_donkey_boySee all my reviews

Everybody behind the Resident Evil film loved the Resident Evil/Biohazard video game. Here we hear why. We hear from the game designers. "Evil is always very dramatic." We hear Milla share how she likes to be attacked by zombies. Michelle likens playing the game to being in a Hitchcock film. What is risky about adapting Resident Evil for the cinema? Video games vs. movies. Resemblances of the film to the game. "The universe of the video game is very explicit." Marilyn Manson weighs in with his insight into postgamic affectations of our younger generation. I'm coming at all this (this DVD featurette and the Resident Evil flick in general) from the point-of-view of someone with no interest in video games but I enjoyed these 14' nonetheless and, if you wish to understand where everybody was coming from, so will you. Kill those bloody zombies!
