Storyline

As Tarzan and Jane's one-year wedding anniversary approaches, Jane searches the jungle for the perfect gift for Tarzan, even enlisting the help of Terk and Tantor. As they recall the many adventures they've shared so far, Jane realizes what an exciting year it's been in the jungle from encounters with old friends, outsmarting panthers to surfing the lava down an erupting volcano. But all of that is nothing compared to the surprise that Tarzan has in store for Jane. Written by Ash

Goofs

Robert Canler refers to serving the Queen, which is presumably Queen Victoria. However, the first powered flight wasn't until 1903, two years after Victoria's death. Additionally, the references to Victoria, Charles Darwin and Rudyard Kipling in the first film pinpoint the time period as late 19th century and this film is supposed to take place a year after it, not during World War I as it appears. What Movie?!?!? This is Garbage!
13 January 2013 | by kobebusiaSee all my reviews

I saw Tarzan and Jane way back when I was a little kid, but over the past 3-4 years or so, I really thought about the core story of this and what it boils down to is literally nothing! All that happens here is that Jane is trying to think of ways to celebrate her 1 year wedding anniversary with Tarzan, and she, Terk, and Tantor just reflect on memories that derive from the Tarzan TV series every time 1 of them suggests an idea, that's it! A direct to video sequel like that in my opinion, barely even qualifies as a movie, that's just an attempt at seeking a profit. How could Disney possibly think that this passes for a story worth telling? I hate this direct to video sequel from Disney and in all honesty, it has no real plot, and it's an insult to fans of the original Tarzan movie!
