Veronica Carlson, star of various Hammer films including DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE, hosts this 57-minute documentary that takes a look at the history of vampire films. The documentary has Carlson narrating small bits of information while we also get to see trailers to various movies.
We get trailers for a variety of films including DRACULA, SON OF DRACULA, HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN, HOUSE OF DRACULA, MARK OF THE VAMPIRE, THE RETURN OF THE VAMPIRE, OLD MOTHER RILEY MEETS THE VAMPIRE, EL VAMPIRO, HORROR OF DRACULA, THE BRIDES OF DRACULA, KISS OF THE VAMPIRE, BLACK SUNDAY, DRACULA PRINCE OF DARKNESS, SCARS OF DRACULA, HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS, TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA, THE VAMPIRE LOVERS, COUNT DRACULA, COUNT DRACULA'S GREAT LOVE, DRACULA A.D. 1972, THE SATANIC RITES OF DRACULA, THE LEGEND OF THE SEVEN GOLDEN VAMPIRES and OLD DRACULA.
If you grew up in the 1980's then you'll remember countless trailer compilations that were released. If you enjoy that type of thing then you'll certainly want to check this out as there are some pretty good trailers here and you pretty much get all the Hammer Dracula ones. The "bits of information" from Carlson is pretty casual stuff but it's still nice getting to see her. The film ends on a brief history of the vampire craze going on in the 1980's but none of their trailers are shown.
