Excellent show
5 June 2015 | by See all my reviews

This is a great show but admittedly the sub if far superior then the dub. The voices in the dub and the dialog are don't fit and are watered down. At times the character designs can be odd at time especially mei's however other time they can be cute and expressive, and the choice to make mei female was somewhat understandable, but if you're a fan of the movie it is best to watch this show as if these are two new characters, not the ones from the movie.

If you are a fan off the movie, i don't know what to say, you will either love this or hate it. Whatever you do, don't watch the series while remembering the characters from the movie. The Gabu and Mei in this series are different but have really good personality's that had more time to be expanded upon throughout the series.

The ending was a tad disappointing however it is understandable where the series ended and will only be a little disappointing if you have seen the movie.

All in all a really good show. A must see if you like a (mostly) happy, slice of life show with good characters.
