This may be the last chance that these stories may be documented, for unlike film and television, live theatre exists only in the memories of those who were there watching, or more importantly, creating this magic. Now they tell me that it was The Golden Age of Broadway, but when you're that involved with it, you don't know you're in The Golden Age. And after I left the stage, I immediately started playing everybody's mother in movies!
