Storyline

In this Dutch-Belgian co-production, attractive Dutch and Flemish (i.e. Dutch-speaking Belgian) youngsters have what they consider a dream job, virtually a paid holiday: they are 'proppers', which means a nightclub on the Spanish coast (hence the title) pays them to lure other young tourists by their natural -sexy- charms as well as handing out fliers, e.g. for free drinks or competitions, on the beach. They cohabit in free accommodation, so there's ample opportunity for conflict, pranks and love affairs among each-other as well as affairs with 'clients'. However Stuart, the boss of the proppers from rival nightclub Empire, is not content just competing, so he tries to play dirty tricks on our bunch, which spices some story lines. Over the seasons, some leave and others join the team. Written by KGF Vissers

Just a Summary
2 April 2004 | by Koen-aka-filmfreakSee all my reviews

This serie goes on where the movie stopped, partying in Salou (Spain.)

Lots of Dutch celeb's are in this serie, sometime as mainactor (Like Sylvie Meijs and Gorgina Verbaan) and sometimes as one-timer.

Costa! is wild and simple entertainment, with no deep thoughts. (Except the 'safe-sex' morale off course.) And that is why it's so populair in the Netherlands, lot's of people watch it because it brings there vacation-feelings back....

So if you want your kids to see a serious educational program, continue zapping, but if the kid had to choose, Costa! would be shining on the telly...
