Rare cabaret number sung by Lata Mangeshkar
4 October 2013 | by dr-dubeySee all my reviews

This film contains the first cabaret number sung by Lata Mangeshkar in her life, "Aa Jaane Jaan", also a rarity through her career. Lata has always refused to sing such words which are vulgar(?) in her opinion.

The song was picturized on Helen and choreographed by P. L. Raj. It also remains one of most popular dance number of Helen's career. The music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal with lyrics by Rajinder Krishan.

The music of this film was popular with songs like "Hum Tumhare Liye", Lata Mangeshkar was nominated in the Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer category for her song "Kaise Rahoon Chup" from Intaquam.

The film was a success at Box Office and marked the return of actress Sadhana to films after her brief illness.
