Snub's going solo...

In the 1910s, Harry 'Snub' Pollard was steadily employed by Hal Roach to play second banana in Harold Lloyd's shorts However, when Lloyd went off on his own in the early 20s to make his own films, Pollard was elevated to feature player in Roach's and other short comedies. "Fully Insured" is one of these Pollard comedies where he is the star.

George Rowe plays a man selling unique employment insurance. According to the policy, if you are fired, the insurance company will find you a better job. Well, after Snub has trouble with his foreman (James Finlayson), he quits...as he's just purchased such a policy. What's next? Well, his old job wants Snub back very badly...though it's uncertain WHY!

This short holds up pretty well and is modestly funny. Nothing brilliant here, but an enjoyable short nonetheless.
