Expension pack for 'Baldur's Gate'. The two new areas are the small town of Ulgoth's Beard, where you learn of the legend of Balduran, and a tough-as-nails area called Durlag's Tower, a death-trap for foolish adventurers.

Storyline

The game begins with Vahn, Adrianna and Kromlech arriving in Baldur's Gate, whereupon they are attacked by a group of thieves led by Karne (voiced by Michael Bell). The thieves are about to kill the trio when they are interrupted by the city watch, who take the newcomers to the nearby Elfsong Tavern to recover. There, the bartender, Alyth Elendara (Jennifer Hale), assists them in earning some money by giving them the job of clearing the tavern's cellar of rats. In the cellar, they discover the thieves are using the tavern's sewer entrance to infiltrate the city. The best game to come out that resembles Dungeons & Dragons!
10 February 2002 | by WolverineDSSee all my reviews

This game can be hours of fun playing. You can carry your character over into another game if you like. The game is quite user friendly. If you beat it, there is an extreme level you can play on. If you liked Gauntlet... you will love this. You will notice one of the voices in the game as Dwight Shultz (Murdock in the A-team, and Lt. Barclay from Star Trek The Next Generation). This is a good RPG, and it is not Turn based like those dumb Final Fantasy games. For something similar to this game for the computer is Fallout and Fallout 2 & 3.
