- Summaries (3)
To make Edgar do something about his physical condition, his wife has invited her old boy friend, in tip-top shape, to spend the weekend with them. In addition to getting worn out playing golf, Edgar overhears a phone call that makes him think Vivien is arranging to run off with his hated rival.
Vivian has noticed that EDgar has let his appearance go and he's terribly out of shape. Her interfering father suggests that Edgar invite her old boyfriend over for the weekend because he's in even worse shape. True to form, his father-in-law invites the wrong old boyfriend and Edgar fears he may be losing his wife to her old flame. Things get even worse when Edgar tries to compete with him on the golf course.
In an effort to show wife Vivian her old boyfriend is in even in worse shape than he is, he invites him to spend the weekend but his father-in-law invites the wrong old beaux.
