As a kid growing up in the middle east if I wanted to watch something that taught me sportsmanship, passion, dedication, hardwork, loyalty, admiration, sacrifice, honesty.......Kickers was the one. It was known as Haddaf back in the middle east and each every single episode was a master piece. Haddaf is a story about young boys studying in the same school who are passionate for just one thing. The central character is Rami ( Arabic) who is the best player and he is the one who encourages the best out of his team mates including his captain. The story is a journey of how an below average ( read pathetic) team emerges as one of the strongest teams of the inter school competitions over a period of time. How with each episode they improve their skills. I would encourage any parent who can catch hold of this cartoon series to show it to their kids, this is from the era when cartoons where cartoons and were meant to build character in kids. Thank you creators of Haddaf and Kickers for an awesome childhood.
