Initial Lineup And Midnight Jam Announced For MerleFest 2018

MerleFest, presented by Window World, is proud to announce the initial lineup for MerleFest 2018, which will be held April 26 – 29.

The annual homecoming of musicians and music fans returns to the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The complete lineup for MerleFest 2018 will be announced over the next few months. Today’s lineup announcement includes legendary artist Kris Kristofferson, Jamey Johnson, Robert Earl Keen, The Devil Makes Three, Balsam Range and the Atlanta Pops Orchestra Ensemble, “Mission Temple Fireworks Revival” featuring Paul Thorn & Band, the Blind Boys of Alabama and the McCrary Sisters, and many more. The 2018 Midnight Jam presented by The Bluegrass Situation on Saturday, April 28th will start at 10:30 p.m. and run well past midnight, with special hosts Town Mountain and Jim Lauderdale. After year's gap, Dhanush back on screen
Chennai, April 30: After more than a year, the ever busy Tamil actor Dhanush will be seen on the silver screen in "Edhir Neechal".

He was last seen in Tamil romantic-drama "3". Directed by his wife Aishwarya, it was released in March last year and garnered lacklustre response at the box-office.

"After more than a year, I'm appearing on silver screen on May 1 through 'Local Boys' song in 'Edhir Neechal'. I dedicate the song to my fans," posted Dhanush on his Twitter page.

Dhanush shakes a leg with Nayanthara in the song, which has music by Anirudh Ravichander. Directed by debutant R.S. Durai Senthil Kumar, this is Dhanush's.

Production Deals Out Of Fantasia For Turbo Kid And Dark Hollow

Good news for two more projects pitched during Fantasia's Frontières International Co-Production Market at this year's festival last month. The mythological horror film Dark Hollow and T is for Turbo/Turbo Kid (above), one of the most popular entries for the letter 'T' during the The ABCs of Death competition, both signed feature film deals. Local boys Raven Banner Entertainment will handle worldwide sales for Dark Hollow, the film adaptation of Brian Keene's horror novel. The film will be directed by Paul Campion (The Devil's Rock). Canadian production house EMAFilms signed on to produce a feature film based on the T is for Turbo short.
