Storyline

Young journalist Jessica Taylor (Catherine McClements) goes to the open day of a maximum security prison to watch a debate and gather up information for a story she is writing. There, she meets Billy Carter (Scott Burgess), an inmate who has served 11 of a 27 year imprisonment. While Billy is quite reluctant to open up to Jessica at first, the pair soon find themselves in love with each other and struggle not only to find a way to be together, but to fight the justice system which put Billy in jail.
