Goofs

Barth tells Nolan to go to the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and La Brea Avenue, but the next scene with Nolan shows him just outside Universal Studios. Further, that intersection is a half-mile southwest of Graumann's Chinese Theater, which the scene of Nolan's arrival in LA established to now be oceanfront property with the entirety of Sunset Boulevard underwater. Quotes

Viceroy Berto Mercado: You're a show-off, Pottinger, with your big words, your hand lotion, your TV screens. But I tell you something, I never met a show-off who was quite as smart as he thought he was.
Mayor Niles Pottinger: Well, now that you finally have, you can tell your grandkids all about it.

I liked the premier. It has action and all this interesting stuff going on with the town with the E rep. Also a bit of the continued cult mystery with Irisa. It's definitely setting up for a good season. Warning tho: This episode is really mature. Has violence, brutal bloody bit, drugs and hands. Not for kids to watch!! I don't get why they put the hands in there. It shouldn't be necessary, but they did anyway.

Also extra bit. Video game to TV cross over with Varus. So if you don't play the game you won't know about him and Nolan. Anyway, Varus looked weird but I suppose that's what happens when you take a virtual Votan to real life. However, it was still nice to get a glimpse of him.
