Storyline

With the rent due and his car booted, Sean (Dr. Dre) has to come up with some ends...and fast. When his best buddy and roommate Dee Loc (Snoop Dogg), suggests that Sean get a job busting suds down at the local car wash, the first order of business is impressing Mr. Washington (George Wallace) the gun-toting, dominoes-playing owner of The Wash. Unaware that the two are roomies, Mr. Washington hires Sean as Dee Loc's supervisor. Comic tensions flare between the two, especially when Dee Loc suspects Sean of trying to slow his roll with the side hustles he's got going on in the car wash parking lot...and with the ladies in the locker room. But there are bigger things to worry about at The Wash. One is the menacing phone calls from a disgruntled employee, and the other is figuring out how to get money to pay off the kidnappers who've snatched Mr. Washington! If Sean, Dee Loc, and the rest of the gang don't settle their differences and get Mr. Washington back, the good times at The Wash ... Written by Anonymous

The Wash, was nothing more than washed up.
2 August 2003 | by pepivanni5See all my reviews

I couldn't wait to rant as much as I could about this sorry excuse for a comedy. Some objetionable stuff like nonstop drug use and profane language made this movie worth not getting up and walking out of the theater, or taking the dvd out of my set and heaving it out window, but only those things saved it from getting a -2 out of 10. This entire script had absolutely no creativity or thought put into it, it felt like something you come up with at the top of your mind for a grade school project, like a novel at a preschool level of thought. If you listen closely to the dialogue, it's as simplistic as if the goal intent was to make this script 100% foolproof. In addition, there are way too many "run ons" in this movie, with small flaws that prevent the characters from sticking to the plot, as well as irrelevant little add-ons that have absolutely no point or place in the task at hand. I'm a big fan of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, but this movie was, I'm sorry to say, a low point in both of their careers.
