A nice student film
29 April 2008 | by MartinHaferSee all my reviews

This short film is a student film about the creation of the world by The Great Father. I really liked and appreciated the animation style--it was very strongly inspired by the Pacific Northwest Indian tribes and is like a work of art come to life. It just screams "quality" and I have no complaints at all at this professional looking production. The entire story is a creation story involving the duck and it's a nice introduction to Native American mythology and lore. I would guess this would be pretty good for all ages up to teen. Teens would probably find the whole thing pretty dull, as there are no explosions or crude jokes--just a straight telling of the story. Good stuff and worth a peek.
