Storyline

In 1924 Tampa, Cesar Hidalgo makes his living the same way both his father and his grandfather did: he reads to cigar rollers. The cigar rollers enjoy listening to his books as they roll premium cigars by hand. When the new invention of radio appears in the factory however, the men are fascinated by the new form of entertainment. Cesar struggles to keep their attention as more and more men choose the radio over him. Written by Anonymous
