Trivia

One of the generators providing power for the film equipment was placed in the barn. By accident, something fell over the generator which caused a fire and set the barn ablaze. For the script, the barn was never supposed to burn, but was added to the script as they saw the chance to get some shots from the fire. They were filming the bathing sequence by the lake when they saw smoke coming from the barn. The fire department was immediately alerted, and meanwhile they were doing what they could to put out the fire and prevent the fire from spreading, Mikael Persbrant had to make a swift costume change and pose in front of the burning barn for the shots. Boring eyecandy
16 July 2001 | by signySee all my reviews

Wonderful pictures, attention to detail, and very talented actors. It's a shame that the story is too slow without any actual release. After an initial comment by Mikael Persbrandt's character I personally kept waiting for "something bad" to happen all through the movie.

In the time-honored tradition of Scandinavian drama there will be shouting and full frontal nudity. Typical "wannabe serious moviegoer's" favorite, 4/10.
