Génies en herbe

-The first national series of Budding Geniuses, June 7, 1973. In fact, the show had started a few years earlier on the regional television station CBOFT Ottawa. It was based on the CBC series Reach 'For The Top'. Following the success of this first version, Radio-Canada decided to extend the program to the entire French network. Teams competing in the televised quiz show come from all parts of the country. The program "Génies en herbe" ended in 1997, but schools were still able to continue the activity internally. More than twenty years later, there are still associations and competitions under different names in high schools, but also in CEGEPs and universities.
