In this film, a massive conspiracy is exposed. It seems that Canadians have conspired to infilitrate American culture by gaining prominent employment in the US entertainment industry. During this humourous investigation, we learn of the numerous entertainment stars who were born in Canada, but gained fame in the USA, which includes some surprising individuals. Written by Kenneth Chisholm (kchishol@rogers.com)
The Canadian Conspiracy was a great satirical-type comedy played serious, which not only entertained but was thought provoking, but not to too deep a level. I really wish there had been a sequel a number of years later when Wayne Gretzky went to Los Angeles and Mike Myers et al began their "invasion" of the U.S. The possibilities then would have been endless.
